Taste of Cathedral 2025

Okay, okay, I’m posting close to New Year’s Eve but we’re just too excited for 2025 because it means it will almost be time for another TASTE OF CATHEDRAL!

Join us on Saturday, January 25th at 6pm at the Canadian Italian Club (2148 Connaught St) for an evening of gourmet delights, live music by 18th Avenue Duo, and our famous silent auction of over 100 packages including items from local artists and businesses. I am the one who won Phrederick the Pheasant last year and let me tell you, the silent auction is lively.

Definitely save room for food because Cathedral’s lovely vendors always serve up some special things this year. Featured this year is Aunte Maggie’s Caribbean Meals, Blanco Cantina, Cuppa T’, Fiesta Filipino, Pause Coffee, Takeaway Gourmet, Shannon’s Pub & Grill, Rebellion Brewing, Sinfully Sweet Cathedral Bakery, Uncle Sunny, and, of course, the Canadian Italian Club. There will also be a cash bar.

As always, all funds raised support the Cathedral Village Arts Festival! Doors open at 5:30pm, food tastings are from 6-8:30pm, and the silent aution runs from 6-9:30pm. Event tickets ($25) are available on Eventbrite or in-person at Dessart Sweets (3036 13th Ave via cash or cheque only). Children under 2 do not require a ticket.
