“Thank you, Ken”

Come share a moment of gratitude as our community says a sincere thank you to friend and founder, Ken Mitchell. Ken is a poet, novelist and playwright who’s had 11 an enormous influence on Canadian literature. He is a member of the Order of Canada and holds a Saskatchewan Order of Merit. Ken helped found the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild and the Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre. And it was through his creativity and initiative that the Cathedral Village Arts Festival was born. Cowboy poet George Grassick will present an original poem specially written for Ken. Ken and his wife Jeanne will be in attendance.
