Fringe Survivors
Regina’s Pass the Hat comedian David Carnegie introduces four short “Fringe Survivor” plays.
1.From the creative minds of Annika Danielson and Emily Sorensen: A comedy short about two theatre artists and their process in creating an avant-garde, experimental piece. This piece comments on the desire to take oneself seriously and prove themselves to an audience.
2. Fresh from the TicTocTen Festival in April, see a remount of Kaydence Banga’s “A Job To Do“. At a mob funeral, it is revealed that the two funeral directors are actually the people who murdered the big boss!
3. URImprov2 clings to life after the loss of the Fringe Festival this year, only to be at each other’s throats! Who dunnit, even these Improvisors don’t know until it’s way too late to escape…or survive!
4. The Flat Land Fools make their debut appearance as they assist Fringe Survivors Host, Tyler Toppings, in presenting a line-up of great, short, performances. These two clowns will help clear and prep the stage, and we can only hope they won’t mess it up again!
