Andino Suns masterfully fuse traditional Aldean folk music with Rock’n’Roll sounds from the west in their latest album 9/11, which recounts the lived-experiences of Chilean folks such as themselves who were displaced in September of 1973 after the Chilean government was overthrown by a fascist dictatorship (with the help of Nixon). They have been releasing unique and vibrant tunes embedded with political activism since 2013, and will continue to spread their message for years to come.
