The CVAF is one of Regina’s largest festivals. Spanning an entire week and hosting dozens of performances and large outdoor events, it attracts and entertains crowds upwards of 40,000 people.

2023 Festival Theme

HOME

We warmly invite you to join us at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival, where we celebrate the creativity, imagination, and resilience of the human spirit. This year’s theme is “HOME”, a concept that touches us all, as it represents not only a physical place, but a sanctuary for the soul, a refuge from the storms of life, and a place where we can truly be ourselves.

Come with us and be transported to a world of wonder, where every corner is filled with magic and delight, where the imagination knows no bounds, and where you will find a true sense of belonging. As the great poet Robert Frost once said, “Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in.”

Sure you can: borscht, varenyky, pierogi, holubtsi. The festival celebrates the cultural traditions of all the peoples who live in our Community. From Tagalog to Hindi to Cree you'll hear the languages of Turtle Island and the world.
